"THERE’S A MONSTER LOOSE IN THESE WOODS. That's what they say.”
The old white wolf puffed, her breath a stain upon the still air. Her crippled frame suggested death could claim her at any hour. That she still lived was a marvel.
“He walks in the solemn whisper of night, when the clouds turn the sky sightless, and when the moon softens. If you stop, you can hear the ice crack at his coming, the birds' flight at his gait, and the woodland animals' recoil at his breath. The forest wilts with his every step. The bracken curls, then dies. Life erodes as death harbors within him.”

It'd been a long night, one she wouldn't soon forget. With the past heavy on her mind she'd found her self running once again. Short dark brown hair, almost a black bounced on top the head that held bright blue eyes under glasses that rested on the ridge of a simple nose. Smooth lips found just slightly parted as oddly calm breathing slipped from the crack as she moved with haste. It only took her once she reached the middle of a rather dense forest that the magic happen. It wasn't something normal, a secret she liked to keep only to herself. She felt more at ease in this forum none the less, even if she knew nobody would understand it. If th

While Akira was resting, he thought of his friends.
'Where are you? Where can I find you? I hope you are well. Even if I don't know Shane long, it feels so strange when he isn't here. I miss him so much,' Akira thought as he slowly fell asleep.
Meanwhile, Shane slowly opened his eyes and felt someone hold him tightly in his arms.
"Are you Akira?" He asked.
"No, I'm sorry Shane, I'm Shakiria."
"Where are we, where is Akira?"
"We're safe, but we don't know where Akira is," Kai said.
Shane jumped up and ran toward the door, but before he reached the door, someone pulled him back.
"We'll stay here," someone shouted.
Shane turned slowly, lookin

"Quarantine sounds unreasonable, father."
"No, when it comes to the Kukamia, we must handle regardless of the consequences. We must stop the spread as good as we can."
Akira intervened and wanted to know what the Kukamia are.
Then Blaidd explained it to him: "The Kukamia were a humanoid lizard or reptile-like species. They were conquerors and scientists, they always tried to adapt themselves to the respective planet. Whenever they found new DNA, that was compatible with their DNA, they created a new Kukamia race. When we met them, we couldn't stop them. Somewhere on the planet they had huge nests. Without the destruction of the nests, thousa

Akira woke up, he slowly opened his eyes and looked around.
He was lying on a bed with a white blanket.
'Must be part of the medical field," thought Akira.
In the room there were no windows, no great lighting and no decoration, only one door was there.
He was about to get up, he felt a sharp pain on his right hand.
'Oh,' he thought, looking in pain at his hand, this was freshly bandaged.
He jumped out of bed and pushed against the door.
"How does this crap open, I have to go to Shane," he cried, and knocked on the door, but no one opened it.
He looked around and looked for a panel or a lever to open the door.
Finally, he noticed a small panel

"Do you want to walk through the city with us like this? Singartis are looking for you Clara? And certainly also that thing."
"We avoid the mainstreets and hurry, how far is the resistance away?"
"4 hours by feet."
"4 hours?"
"Is this a problem?", asked Akira.
"Yes, this is far too long. " The opportinity to be seen by Singartis or traitors is too high.
"We could hide the weapons, but not this tyke."
"Never call me a tyke again, or it will be the last thing you will do", said Akira and graped Luckas neck.
"Let him go, Akira. We still need them."
"Are you sure? I thought we only need one."
"Just let him go."
"What are we doing now? We can not
Half the world is settling down
And the other half is waking up.
When the moon has yet to rise
And the sun has already fallen
I leave the house and walk
And watch the stars come out at night.
I’ve come to prefer their soft glow
Over the blue sky and daylight.
The darkness is helpful
Blinding me to most everything
So I can remember this feeling
Of comfort in what I can’t see.
The silence is overpowering
As it quickly sinks in.
So I begin to sing quietly
Not just for myself
But the invisible as well.
I can feel the calming presence
Sweet and assuring
Despite the lack of touch or sound
Regardless of time and dista

While Shane still protected Akira, blood ran down his snout.
The blood came from a large laceration that Shane had received from the headbutt.
"Prisoner, away from the Commander or we'll shoot!"
"Shall we shoot, Commander?"
"No wait, I'm talking to this Lupain"
"Stay away from me," Kayla said.
But Shane didn't respond, even as a Lupain came closer and aimed at Shane, Shane remained idly.
He lowered his head again and again and had problems to hold himself up.
At first Shane shook slightly, then more and more until he finally fell to the side.
"What is it Shane?" Asked Shakiria.
"Shane, are you okay?" Asked Kai.
But Shane didn't answer, he lay
